A MAN AMONG GIANTS
A Man Among Giants documents the trials and tribulations of Doug 'Tiny' Tunstall, a self-described "ghetto republican" little-person on public assistance, who ran for Mayor of Pawtucket, Rhode Island in 2006. As a former pro-wrestler, and a member of the G.O.P. in a town with a long-sitting Democrat incumbent, Tiny has a difficult time being taken seriously. Tiny confronts the challenge head-on, and applying the teachings of his loving father, he defies his detractors, determined to turn his differences and assets. He develops a thick skin, a big mouth, and an even bigger personality.

After spending nearly two decades appearing on shows like WWE Monday Night Raw and The Jerry Springer Show , Tiny leaps into a political system where cash is king. And in this world, Tiny can't do much more than get out and shake hands with the voters. However, when a wealthy backer comes to champion his cause, things begin to take on a new life, bringing energy and opportunity, but a whole new struggle, this time within the campaign. Tiny refuses to stop being true to himself, despite mounting pressure to appeal to a wider group of voters.

Tension mounts in the wake of allegations of a bomb threat, called in by Tiny to a local radio station. By election night, Tiny has lost his backer, the polls are not in his favor and he himself is spinning out of control. The outcome of the race brings as much a surprise to Tiny as it does the electorate. A Man Among Giants is not just about politics, it's about living the American dream. It is proof positive that it's time for the little guy to be heard.

AMERICAN PSYCH WARD
American Psych Ward is the follow-up film (a rough-cut) to A Man Among Giants. Three years after Doug ‘Tiny’ Tunstall’s Pawtucket mayoral race, the story picks up when director Rod Webber goes to bail Tiny out of jail. The following day, Tiny is committed to a mental hospital for allegedly making threats to public officials, whereupon Webber takes it upon himself to untangle the web, which Tiny has caught himself in.

Unlike A Man Among Giants’ rambunctious rollercoaster ride, American Psych Ward shows the sad repercussions of being a man who has chosen to embrace that which makes him so different from the rest of us.

Ultimately, Tiny is a man who is punished for fighting for his right as an American citizen for his individuality, freedom of opinion, and voraciousness in what some may perceive as grandiose, but sill, it is his right.

Various powerful entities are brought to light exposing the history of committal, the "unspoken" practice of declaring an inmate incompetent, competentcy itself as being "perceived" or even relevent.

There are also  unscrupulous powerful political stances practices, shocking actionsfrom a former Cheif of Staff on the grounds of being considered a jailer. There are legal aspects that such as habius corpus, the right to a trial of his peers, an expedient trial.  This documentary touches on Tiny's sense of invincible self and seems to continue to remain himself as he endures this experience.

A 75-minute work-in-progress version of the film will screen free of charge after A Man Among Giants Saturday, July 11th. Tiny is still involuntarily committed to the Psych Ward, and, according to him, is still refusing to take his medication.

MY SISTER THE PSYCHOPATH

Directed by Lindsay Shah

Laura, naive but curious, longs to express her feelings for a certain special someone -- and for his equally hot brother.  At least she has her beloved dolls to confide in, and sometimes the dolls even talk back.  Laura’s younger sister Helena, a Goth girl, does not hesitate to go after the things that she wants -- like a pair of sketchy brothers who, in her imagination at least, inhabit an enticing and dangerous underworld.  Fearless in indulging her craving for perverse thrills, Helena seems almost to dare something terrible to happen to her.  The two sisters, worlds apart in personality, can’t stand each other, so they don’t realize that they share a tendency to live among their fantasies.  Can they get past their differences in time to keep each other out of the psych ward and the city morgue?
